Having not only efficient but also good looking staff is a pretty big arsenal if you’re going into the hotel business. This taps into the ideal vacation that every person has in mind; you know you’d be lying if you didn’t envision having that witty conversation with a handsome bartender, or a pretty waitress for that matter.

NAME: MONDRIAN LOS ANGELES
LOCATION: California
Pretty people from all parts of the world converge in Los Angeles with the same dream of making it big in Hollywood. With the potential promise of fame, power and fortune, these people will do most anything to make their dreams into reality. A lot of these handsome lads and pretty chicks would give their right arm to land a gig over at the Mondrian Los Angeles hotel, which is a popular area for scouts working for the entertainment industry. Not only casting agents but also studio hotshots have been known to frequent the hotel’s restaurant called Asia de Cuba and also the Skybar, looking for that diamond in the rough that they can help shine and at the same time, rake in the Benjamins.
Because these hopeful actors and actresses never known when the moment will arrive when they’re discovered by a talent scout, they’re always made up and look like a million bucks. Aside from that, you never know when Hugh Grant or Elle Macpherson will decide to drop by, so you can bet that those waitresses who show off their bodacious curves as they serve drinks and cocktails by the pool are always ready for a close up.
What’s good about the staff at the Mondrian Los Angeles is that while they’ve mastered the art of putting on make up, fixing their hair and maintaining good posture, they haven’t forgotten how to provide excellent service to their guests. One too many bratty celebrities has taught these guys to be tireless, resourceful and savvy. The icy vibe that the hotel used to have has also been replaced by a warmer, friendlier atmosphere, which is always good if you want to make a lasting impression.
NAME: PAIA INN
LOCATION: Maui, Hawaii
We’ve gushed about men twice so far in our list, so we think it’s time to share something for the guys out there. If what you’re looking for is comfortable accommodation and the sight of pretty girls any which way you turn your head, then get a load of the women staff members at the Paia Inn in Maui. These staffers fit the bill of the hot surfer chick which means they all have glowing tanned skin and tousled blond hair. In the mornings, you can find them right at the beach hanging ten, while during the afternoons, you can feel free to walk up to them and challenge them to a friendly game of Ping Pong. With such erm, friendly, staff working at the Paia Inn, it really is no wonder why famous celebrities such as Owen Wilson have been spotted here having a wonderful time, chilling out on the patio.
What’s good about the staff here at Paia is that they’re not afraid to get wet and wild. In fact, they can even share with you some inside information on the most ideal surf breaks. They can also be counted on to help you get ready to go paddleboarding at the bay, and let you know if the conditions are right for windsurfing. Oh, and make sure you mean business when you challenge the staff members to a Ping Pong match. Don’t think you can just take it easy, because these ladies won’t be afraid to show you who’s the boss, and you can bet that they keep score.
NAME: RITZ CARLTON IN SOUTH BEACH
LOCATION: Miami, Florida
You will never run out of six pack abs and burly biceps to ogle at and drool over in Miami’s South Beach. But if you want some harmless physical contact with some hot staffers, might we suggest booking a room at the Ritz Carlton and spend your days getting tanned by— who else?—the staff, of course! Okay, here’s the drill: the Ritz Carlton has special staffers called tanning butlers whose main job is to administer tanning lotion on their guests by the poolside between the hours of 11am and 3pm. Which means that when the clock strikes 11am all the way up to 3pm, you’ll see these beefy guys armed with holsters containing Evian mist, sunglasses, and tanning lotions patrolling the poolside, checking to see if anyone needs some tanning lotion rubbed on their backs.
If you’re wondering if these tanning butlers are really all that, here’s something we learned: one of their butlers recently landed a modeling gig in Milan for the famous label, Armani through a talent scout. Think about it. That new model on the runway? Yep, those are the same hands he was rubbing up and down your back a couple of months ago.
The staff at the Ritz may not resemble the butler Cadbury in Richie Rich, but they still are ladies and gentlemen of their own right, and guests are expected to reciprocate the politeness expressed towards them. Do remember to thank them after your rubdown, and say please for when you want one.
NAME: LUKULA SELOUS
LOCATION: The Selous Game Reserve located in Tanzania
Travelers who visit the camp of Lukula Selous can be sure to take home memories of being able to stand very close to a pride of fearsome lions that all look like they could eat you up in one single bite. Here, you can also travel through rivers infested with crocodiles. Don’t worry though, because you’ll be accompanied by the camp’s very own guides who are as knowledgeable about these animals as those guys you see on the National Geographic Channel. As a matter of fact, one of these guides used to be a professional hunter, so there’s no doubt that he knows the different habits and attitudes of these animals. Their group of guides also includes a model for Calvin Klein, which kind of makes it hard to fix your specs on the animals before you.
At night, you can stare at the guides dreamily while having dinner by candlelight and listening to their adventure filled stories of scary hippo charges or perhaps a run-ins with some poachers.
What’s good about the guides here is that underneath that gorgeous mop of hair is a brain chock filled with information about nature. Ask the guide the genus and also species of each animal you encounter on your hike and most likely, they can provide you with the right answer straightaway. Showing of their more cultured side, they’re not at all overwhelmed when faced with an extensive wine list, they speak multiple languages (read: six!) and have an internal compass that’s almost fool proof.
NAME: THE STANDARD
LOCATION: New York City
A little tip from us to you: don’t be too surprised if some of the guests at NYC’s The Standard turn out to be quite the exhibitionists, as what will be apparent when you behold some of them through the full length windows getting pretty busy. As a matter of fact, we kind of understand why. You can’t really blame these people considering that they’re surrounded by these gorgeous doormen in skinny ties that have an uncanny resemblance to Adrian Grenier. And not just that; when you approach the front desk, you better be holding on to something before looking their front desk staff in the eye.
The Standard usually goes through frequent staff changes because a lot of them are musicians who are looking for a way to pay the bills while they’re off tour. Others are models who also work as DJs when they don’t have any current gigs in the fashion world (no wonder they look goooood!). This means that the guy who helped you with your bags today could very well be the same guy you’re watching on HBO next summer.
What’s good about the staff is that beneath the good looks, they’re very efficient, friendly, and have an extensive knowledge when it comes to the night life of this exciting city. If you want to check out underground hip hop gigs or perhaps a warehouse party, all you have to do is ask and they’ll point you in the right direction. They’re pretty handy when it comes to more conventional questions, too. For example, they’re updated on which restaurants just opened in town. An added bonus that will definitely make you love their staff even more, they can call their buddy the doorman and give them a heads up that you’ll be joining the party.
NAME: FAENA HOTEL + UNIVERSE
LOCATION: Buenos Aires in Argentina
If you’ve noticed that almost everyone in Buenos Aires is either beautiful or very beautiful, then you shouldn’t be surprised to behold the smoldering looks of the women staff members working at the Faena Hotel. The hotel’s design may seem a bit over the top for some people, taking into account that it is actually decorated with red velvet and also white unicorns, but we think guests will all agree that when it comes to the staff’s inherent beauty, there can be no such thing as over the top.
What’s good about the staff at the Faena Hotel is that there’s more to them than intriguing eyes and softly curved lips. The hotel holds regular tango shows that have become quite popular all over Argentina. This is also one of the flashiest tango shows that you will be able to watch here. Not to be left behind are the musicians who are all dressed in tuxedos. The performance may include a bit of female nudity, but everything is done artistically and you simply won’t be able to deny the talent of these amazing dancers once you sit back and watch them perform.
NAME: PALMS CASINO RESORT
LOCATION: Las Vegas in Nevada
At the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, you don’t have to look far to find beautiful people. From the minute you enter the casino, you can start ogling the clerk at the check in counter, and as you go about your day, you can enjoy the beautiful view of slender bunnies in scant outfits as they deal the playing cards over at Playbo Club; or the cocktail waitresses whose legs seem to go on forever, as she serves you a fruity drink down by the poolside.
Aside from having very attractive staff, the Palms Casino Hotel also has the proper stuff to get that party going on. One of their suites is furnished with a rotating bed (did we mention that it measures eight feet and is also rounded?) and also mirrored ceilings. At the premises, there are a total of seven clubs that you can visit so you can go bar hopping right at your very own hotel. The mini bars not only have the some of the best liquor, they also include some sex toys to spice up your evenings and condoms for those who forgot to pack some in their luggage.
