Cruise ship will be a floating hotel for the Winter Olympics

Here's an unusual lodging option for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver: a floating hotel.

Norwegian Cruise Line's Norwegian Star, which has been chartered by a travel company called Newwest, will be moored at the Canadian city's waterfront during the Games. Its 1,119 staterooms are available to rent starting at $350 nightly a person, double, with a three-night minimum. Rates include all meals, airport transfers, city tours, nightly entertainment and more.

Guests won't be roughing it. The ship is equipped with a spa, indoor pool and fitness center. Those who make reservations by Sept. 30 get $200 on-board credit per cabin.
